Kettlebell Yoga with Sophie Uliano

Sophie Uliano, best selling NY Times author and founder of Gorgeously Green shows what's possible when you mix Yoga and Kettlebells!  More specifically, the Portable Kettlebell =)  

What's the big deal?

If you're into Yoga and Kettlebells, then you know the answer!  If you're not that acquainted with one or the other, here's the jist.  

  • There are various styles of Yoga.  All designed to improve mind/body alignment and focus. *
  • The Kettlebell is often referred to as the most effective, single-piece of weigh training equipment for improved strength development and physical conditioning. **
  • Kettlebells are typically made of iron and hard on your body and floors.
  • The PKB is the first sandbag-meets-kettlebell.  It's soft compared to iron, so if you drop it on most floors, not a big deal. 

When you mix the two - the possibilities are endless!  The PKB allows for simple weight adjustment, if using sand, water (or sweet potatoes) to name a few.
